Scarab Gaming Pc CLX SET
Scarab Gaming Pc CLX SET, Anyone wishing to purchase a rig for less than $1500 has many possibilities. These entry-level gaming PCs ensure that you can play the most recent games, including Elden Ring, at respectable settings while also providing a solid platform for future improvements.
Personally, I believe that these PCs are frequently more fascinating to examine than your $4,000 brute that can run any game at 4K and higher. Even while it’s entertaining to play with those, the majority of people don’t have that much money in their bank accounts. The key issue for system designers is giving users with limited resources a high-quality gaming experience with the appropriate components.
The $1500 ($1,494 to be exact) CLX Set gaming PC(opens in new tab) is named after the Egyptian God of War and aims to lead a crowded field of PCs vying for space on your desktop. Right out of the box, this small gaming PC creates a fantastic impression. Scarab Gaming Pc CLX SET
The configuration I received is a compact form factor, mini ATX case desktop from the CLX Set series. On the website, there is a really comprehensive PC configurator that allows you to select pretty much every component, even down to closed loop liquid cooling solutions.

There are tiny boxes that outline the kind of frame rate you can anticipate from a few different games. These part selector features on system builder websites should have included some more recent games, in my opinion. Although GTA V is about a decade old, I’m sure it’s still highly popular. I was able to reproduce the Set PC that I had received using the configurator to determine the lead time, which came out to be about two weeks. Additionally, there doesn’t appear to be any markup on the components. Even the GPUs seem to be decently priced(opens in new tab), which is a great development.
The ready-to-ship PCs offered by CLX can also be delivered to you in a matter of days, but they cannot be customized, which is a fairly typical practice.
No room is wasted within this PC thanks to the carefully arranged components inside its white CLX Mini-ITX chassis with the required tempered glass side panel. The RGB-loaded components, which themselves are controlled by software or the LED button on the front panel, put on a hell of a light show in the cramped spaces when combined with the RAM and 120mm fans.
Components of an AMD Ryzen 5 5600X
Speaking of components, the Set is powered by an AMD Ryzen 5 5600X(opens in new tab), 16GB RAM, and an RTX 3060 GPU. The GeForce RTX 3060(opens in new tab), which serves as a lower-cost GPU on these systems, continues to deliver impressive performance. On the other hand, as you’ll see in a moment, the Ryzen 5 CPU wasn’t really up to the task.
Despite the limited area, CLX fits a full RTX 3060 GPU inside with plenty to spare. It’s an odd contrast to the system Redux supplied, which, despite fitting in a mid-sized chassis, had a motherboard and components designed for a considerably smaller case, leaving an unexpected amount of empty space within the PC. As you can see from the benchmarks, the Redux ‘Good’ PC and the NZXT Streaming PC are the Set’s top competitors in terms of performance. Surprisingly, the Set’s CPU benchmark results fall a little short of those of its marginally less expensive rivals. It was odd to see it receive a lower ranking than the NZXT Streaming PC (which has the same CPU). The Set ran slightly hotter than the others, which may have contributed to some of its underwhelming performance.
